Learning garden of renewable energy

Experimental area of 300m² for schools! This is the first Austrian Renewable Energy Exhibition “learning by doing” in Kötschach-Mauthen, that is based on the educational concept of “experience Teaching“. This concept focuses on explorative and action oriented learning and supports non-formal education for school classes (1 st to 8 th level).

They might book a visit of this experimental area of renewable energy. A „slot-car circuit“, which is driven by muscle power, a tackle, a home trainer (visitors produce electricity to run a radio), and a lot of fascinating experiments are part of the Renewable Energy Exhibition. The intentions of the exhibition concept are to amaze, to arouse curiosity, to discover, to touch, to understand, to get experience and to research. Information about renewable energy from water, wind, solar and biomass, and energy saving is easy to understand for visitors. A journey for children and grown ups to discover the exciting world of renewable energy.
